The art of seeing with one eye – my world and my future
In 1975, a traffic accident changed my life forever. I lost the sight in my right eye—but I never lost my vision for the future. Over the last five decades, this unique perspective has shaped not only the way I see the world, but also the way I create, grow, and contribute. Life is full of obstacles, but those obstacles are what make the journey meaningful.

A Journey in Creativity
With more than 35 years in the creative industry, my professional life has been built around advertising, marketing, and design. From concept development to brand-building strategies, from illustration to digital imaging, I have embraced every tool and technique available to tell stories visually and emotionally. My expertise is not confined to one medium—whether it’s watercolors, acrylics, or the latest digital platforms like Photoshop, Illustrator, Fresco, and Krita, I enjoy blending traditional and modern methods to craft fresh narratives.

The ability to adapt has been at the core of my journey. Losing an eye might have meant narrowing of vision, but instead, it gave me a wider sense of possibilities. Creativity is, at its heart, about resilience and reinvention—and I’ve lived that truth every day.

Philosophy of Art and Storytelling
For me, visual communication is more than just aesthetics. It is about connecting with people, shaping perceptions, and building meaning. Every design is a conversation between the creator and the audience. Over the years, I’ve learned that the most powerful stories are those that combine authenticity with imagination.
In my work, I strive to balance strategy with artistry: creating communication plans that not only look compelling but also strengthen brand identity and commercial value. This balance of vision and practicality is what defines my philosophy of art.

Beyond the Studio
My journey isn’t limited to professional life. As a husband and father, I see myself as a silent architect—shaping my children’s world by being present, by listening, and by respecting their individuality. Together with my wife, we’ve embraced the responsibility of guiding our children while honoring their private worlds. Just as in art, parenting requires patience, understanding, and creativity.

Looking Forward
The art of seeing with one eye has taught me that limitations can be transformed into strengths. It has shown me that challenges are not roadblocks, but stepping stones toward deeper understanding and richer creativity. My past is filled with lessons in resilience, and my future is a canvas still waiting for new colors, new stories, and new visions.

As Hidilyn Diaz once said: “Be who you are. Don’t be afraid to show your uniqueness.” That’s the philosophy I carry with me—in life, in art, and in the future, I continue to build.
